Eco Church

GCMC is committed to caring for our environment, and to help us in this we have joined with the Eco Church awards scheme, which is run by the Christian charity A Rocha UK. 

 

The scheme helps us to look at key areas of church life, and see what we are already doing and where we could do more. The five areas are - 

• Worship and teaching

• Management of church buildings

• Management of church land

• Community and global engagement

• Lifestyle

 

We are really pleased that all three of our Mission Hubs have reached the level required to be awarded a Bronze Eco Church Award.
